10-069 Monday March 1st at 11:29 am Rescue 11 was dispatched with Medic 1 for a possible non breather on East Union Street. Rescue 11 and Medic 1 arrived at 11:33am. Rescue 11 was released at 11:41 pm to return to quarters. Rescue 11 needed to fuel up and returned to quarters at 12:15 pm.

10-070 Tuesday March 2nd at 2:18 pm Rescue 11 responded to 475 Park Avenue to assist Medic 1 and 9 with a non breather. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 2:20 pm and returned to quarters at 2:47 pm.

10-071 Tuesday March 2nd at 2:47 pm Rescue 11 responded to 555 Marion Road to assist Medic 9 with a patient at Kroger’s. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:51 pm and assisted until Medic 2 could arrive on scene. Rescue 11 was released at 3:06 pm to return to quarters 3:07 pm.

10-072 Tuesday March 2nd Rescue 11 and Tower 18 responded to 420 Douglas Street for a fire alarm. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 6:00 pm to find the manager stating that there was no fire and that it was a false alarm. All equipment went in service at 6:09 pm.

10-073 Wednesday March 3rd at 3:15 pm Rescue 11 responded to 420 Douglas Street for a fire alarm. It was determined that the alarm company had worked on the system and there was a problem with the work done. We were advised that we would not be alerted again until the system was repaired. All units returned to quarters at 3:29 pm.

10-074 Wednesday March 3rd at 11:12 pm Rescue 11 responded to 4160 Road 114 for an MVC rollover. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 10:28 pm and assisted Medic 1 and 9 with the patients and returned to quarters at 10:51 pm.

10-075 Thursday March 4th at 2:58 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched to a car fire on I-71 at the 152 NB mm. Upon arrival OSP advised that it was a broken radiator hose and there was no fire. Rescue 11 was returning to quarters when a reported man in a vehicle not breathing on St Rt 95 close to our location. Rescue 11 responded at 3:14 pm.

10-076 Thursday March 4th at 3:14 pm Rescue 11 responded to 5540 St Rt 95 to assist Medic 1 and 9 with a non breathing patient. Rescue 11 and Medic 1 arrived on scene at 3:20 pm. Firefighters assisted with the patient providing CPR and a driver for Medic 1 and 9. All units responded to MCH at 3:54 pm. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 4:00 pm.

10-077 Friday March 5th at 10:15 am Brush 12 responded to 397 South Delaware Street to assist Medic 1 with a patient in a mobile home moving them to the squad. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 10:36 am.

10-078 Friday March 5th at 10:50 am Rescue 11 responded with Medic 1 and 9 to Woodside Village to help with an unresponsive person. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 10:52 and assisted Medic 1 and 9. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 11:24 am.

10-079 Friday March 5th at 2:23 pm Rescue 11 was requested to assist a resident in locating an animal in the home. Firefighters could not find any animal and leaf the scene at 2:38 pm. The next day the lady called and advised that the animal was located.

10-080 Friday March 5th at 7:35 pm Station 19 was dispatched for an MVC at 5975 U S 42 North. Firefighter 19-12 was in the area and found that this was a non injury incident and cancelled the fire department at 5:40 pm.

10-081 Sunday March 7th at 9:58 am A passerby called in a fire alarm at the Tomorrow Center in Edison. Rescue 11 responded at 10:05 am. Medic 1 was on scene and found that the pumping station south of the school building was in alarm. All units were cancelled at 10:07 am.

10-082 Sunday March 7th at 3:07 pm Rescue 11 responded to an MVC pickup into a tree at 5240 US 42 South of town. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 3:13 pm and assisted with the removal of the patient and disconnected the battery cables. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 3:21 pm.

10-083 Monday March 8th at 1:55 am Rescue 11, Engine 15 ad Tower 18 responded to 367 South Delaware Street for a fire alarm. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:02 am and found smoke in the apartment. Upon investigation it was determined that the smoke was cigarette smoke and a chemical haze from “The Works” being poured in the shower drain about an hour earlier. Firefighters cleared the building of the smoke and ran water down the drain until the odor was gone. All equipment returned to quarters at 2:50 am.

10-084 Monday March 8th at 7:08 am Rescue 11 responded MA for Station 39 on an MVC at 6110 Road 25. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 7:27 am, disconnected the batteries of the vehicles and returned to quarters at 8:00 am.

10-085 Monday March 8th at 3:52 pm Rescue 11 responded MA for Station 39 for a residential fire alarm at 5618 Road 122. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 4:02 pm. The driveway was approximately ¾ of a mile and was drifted shut. Firefighters walked back to the house. The owner arrived and walked back to the house. The house was checked and nothing found. Rescue 11 returned o quarters at 4:54 pm.

10-086 Monday March 8th at 6:32 pm Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 59 for a possible house fire on SR 314. After units arrived in the area it was determined that the fire was actually an illegal trash fire at 4950 Road 118. Tanker 14 returned to quarters at 7:19 pm.

10-087 Tuesday March 9th at 3:53 am Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 59 for a chimney fire at 7510 Road 46. Tanker 14 arrived on the scene at 4:16 am and was released at 5:13 am to return to quarters at 5:31 am.

10-088 Tuesday March 9th at 10:16 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 4970 Road 237 to assist Medic 1 with a non-breather. Firefighters responded at 10:17 pm arriving at 10:19 pm. Firefighters assisted and were released at 10:29 pm.

10-089 Wednesday March 10th at 11:28 am Station 19 and 29 were dispatched to 172 North Main Street for smoke in the kitchen. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 11:31 am and found an exposed electric wire arching at the floor level. Engine 23 was held on station in Cardington and then released at 11:49 am. Firefighters removed some of the wall to check for extension and shut off the circuit breaker to the circuit. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 12:00 pm.

10-090 Thursday March 11th at 2:10 pm Tanker 14 was dispatched MA with Station 49 and 59 for a working camper fire at 8130 CR 20. Tanker 14 arrived on scene at 2:30 pm and remained on scene until 2:42 when released by the IC. Tanker 14 returned to quarters at 3:00 pm.

10-091 Thursday March 11th at 7:14 pm Engine 15 was dispatched to investigate electrical equipment arching at 4897 S R 42. Engine 15 arrived on scene at 7:25 pm finding an electric fence. Engine 15 returned to quarters at 7:38 pm.

10-092 Friday March 12th at 11:12 am Brush 12 responded non-emergency to 351 Chartwell to meet with the City PD for a fire behind the residence in the wooded area. Per the regulations of the Chartwell Subdivision there is no open burning permitted. The fire was extinguished and Brush 12 returned to quarters at 11:33 pm.

10-093 Friday March 12th at 12:01 pm Rescue 11 responded to I-71 mm 154 for a reported vehicle fire. It was suspected that the report was no real when only one call was received by the 9-1-1 center. OSP checked the area and found a vehicle with a broken hose. The call was for steam. No fire. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 12:34 pm.

10-094 Friday March 12th at 1:12 pm Rescue 11 responded to 466 Lee Street, Brookhaven Apartments to assist Medic 9 until Medic 2 could arrive from Cardington. Medic 1 was committed to another emergency. Rescue 11 arrived on scene with Medic 9 at 1:15 pm, Medic 1 became available and arrived on scene at 1:19 pm. Firefighters assisted and returned to quarters at 1:29 pm.

10-095 Sunday March 14th at 3:37 am Engine 15 and Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 49 for a working house fire at 3570 St Rt 309 in Iberia. Engine 15 arrived on scene at 3:57 am, dropped a 5” supply line from the hydrant at the post office to the scene

10-096 Monday March 15th at 3:29 pm Rescue 11 responded Road 127 to assist Medic 1 with moving a patient to the squad. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 3:37 pm and was released to return to quarters at 3:47 pm.

10-097 Thursday March 18th at 4:04 pm Rescue 11 responded to 5372 Twp Road 117 t o assist Medic 5 with a patient from the home to the squad. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 4:21 pm, assisted with the patient and returned to quarters at 5:00 pm.

10-098 Thursday March 18th at 8:39 pm Brush 12 and 2 firefighters in their POV’s responded to assist Medic 1 with a patient on Road 135. At 8:45 pm all MA responders were cancelled.

10-099 Friday March 19th at 12:10 pm Rescue 11 responded to 126 East High Street in Edison for a 2 car MVC. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 12:14 pm and assisted with moving the patient form the vehicle to the squad. Rescue 11 firefighters assisted with traffic control and then returned to quarter at 12:40 pm.

10-100 Saturday March 20th at 7:16 pm Station 19 was dispatched to assist Medic 3 by responding the Gator to the scene of an MVC at the 141 mm on I-71. Station 19 was cancelled at 7:22 pm before equipment could respond.

10-101 Thursday March 25th at 8:59 pm Station 19 was dispatched MA with Station 29 for a commercial fire alarm at 316 Park Avenue. Captain 204 arrived on scene and advised for all MA companies to stand-by. At 9:02 pm all MA companies were cancelled. No units responded.


10-102 Friday March 26th at 12:33 am Station 19 was dispatched for a MVC at 4455 State Route 61 South. Rescue 11 responded at 12:39 am and was cancelled at 12:42 am when Medic 9 advised that it was a non-injury MVC. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 12:45 am. Clean up took until 12:50 am.


10-103 Friday March 26th at 8:04 am Rescue 11 responded to a MVC involving three vehicles at 841 Marion Road in front of Woodside Village. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 8:08 am and checked the scene. Determining that there was one injury, they assisted Medic 1 with the victim. Firefighters needed to pry the passenger door open to access the victim. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 8:34 am, and clean up lasted until 9:00 am.
10-104 Friday March 26th at 8:27 pm Station 19 was dispatched to a fire alarm at 371 South Delaware Street. Rescue 11 responded at 8:32 pm arriving at 8:35 pm finding burned food on the stove in apartment 105. The building was cleared of smoke and Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 9:00 pm.


10-105 Saturday March 27th at 6:42 am Station 19 was dispatched to assist Medic 1 with moving a patient from the house to the squad that had had an operation. Brush 12 responded at 6:46 am arriving on scene at 6:51 am and returning to quarters at 7:15 am.


10-106 Saturday March 27th at 3:26 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 555 Marion Road the Kroger Store for a fire in one of the coolers in the back. Chief 101 responded direct arriving on the scene at 3:32 pm 3:32 pm arriving on scene finding an electrical fire on the wall of one of the coolers. Rescue 11 responded at 3:35 pm. Chief 101 and firefighters had problems finding the circuit breaker that controlled the electrical outlet. A heat tape had shorted out and the smoke and dry chemical sprayed into the cooler it was not possible to find the plug. The breaker was shut off and the room cleared at 3:44 pm. Firefighters found the heat tape plug and removed it and then turned the power back on in the cooler. All units returned to quarters at 3:59 pm.


10-107 Sunday March 28th at 1:53 am Station 19 was dispatched for a burning bale of straw in the middle of Lee Street close to 505 Lee Street. Chief 101 and Firefighter 19-16 responded direct to the scene. Brush 12 responded with 2 firefighters and the bale of straw was extinguished at 2:11 am. All equipment returned to quarters at 2:25 am.
10-108 Sunday March 28th at 11:20 am Rescue 11 responded to an MVC at the intersection of CR 101 and 76. Rescue 11 was cancelled at 11:27 am SO on the scene. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 11:27 am.


10-109 Sunday March 28th at 12:14 pm Station 19 was dispatched for Tower 18 and Tanker 14 to respond MA with Station 400 (Fredericktown) for a working commercial fire involving multiple buildings. Tower 18 and Tanker 14 responded at 12:22 pm arriving on scene at 12:42 pm. Tower 18 set up on the North side of the second building and was assigned to protect that building and also contain the fire in that building. Firefighters extinguished the fires inside that structure. Tower 18 and Tanker 14 were released at 4:50 pm to return to quarters. Units returned to quarters at 5:27 pm and clean up lasted until 6:10 pm.


10-110 Sunday March 28th at 2:30 pm Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to 101 Home Road for a fire alarm at the County Corrections Facility. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:34 pm finding a faulty smoke detector. All units returned to quarters at 2:43 pm with clean up lasting until 3:00 pm.


10-111 Sunday March 28th at 3:55 pm Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to I-71 mm 149 for a multiple vehicle MVC. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 4:06 pm finding 2 cars involved with no injuries. Companies stayed on scene directing traffic until OSP could arrive on the scene. All units returned to quarters at 5:02 pm with clean up lasting until 5:50 pm.
10-112 Monday March 29th at 9:05 pm Station 19 was dispatched MA with Station 49 for a working house fire at 7326 SR 61 North. Tanker 14 was dispatched first at 9:05 and then Engine 15 was dispatched at 9:18 pm. Tanker 14 arrived on scene at 9:16 pm, Engine 15 arrived at 9:25 pm. All Station 19 units were released at 10:14 pm. All units were in quarters at 10:17 pm.


10-113 Monday March 29th at 9:35 Station 19 was dispatched to 48 East High Street for a fire alarm at the County Court House. Rescue 11 responded at 9:38 pm arriving on scene at 9:40 pm, acquired the Knox Box keys to enter the structure and was in the building at 9: 41 pm. Firefighters checked out the interior of the structure and determined that there had been a water pressure drop that activated the flow switch. Engine 23 responded from Cardington and arrived at 9:46 pm. All units left the scene at 9:54 pm. All equipment was cleaned up at 10:15 pm.


10-114 Tuesday March 30th at 3:03 pm Rescue 11 responded to assist Medic 1 with a person that had fallen in the parking lot at 153 Iberia Street. Firefighters assisted the person back onto his feet and returned to quarters at 3:12 pm.
10-115 Wednesday March 31st at 8:02 am Rescue 11 was dispatched for an MVC head on at 720 North Main Street. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 8:06 am and found very little damage to either vehicle. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 8:13 am.


10-116 Wednesday March 31st at 4:39 pm Rescue 11 responded to an MVC involving a van and a utility pole. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 4:47 pm and assisted the squad and removed the battery cable. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 5:00 pm.
