Mount Gilead is a thriving community with many businesses in the area and is preparing for the future with improvements to the Local School System as well as many other improvements to enhance our community.

The Mount Gilead.net is the property of the citizens of the Village of Mount Gilead, Ohio. Its contents may be freely distributed and reproduced for the benefit of the community.


Our Monday, November 2, 2026, Committee of the Whole meeting at 6:00 p.m. has been cancelled. Instead, there will be a special Village Council meeting for November 2nd at 6:30 p.m.

The Council will then enter an executive session to discuss employment under ORC 121.22 (G) (1). After the executive session concludes, the regular Village Council meeting will follow and begin at 7:00 p.m.
